Womens Fashion Suits

Although women’s fashion suits can be found in every price range, the best quality suits are marked by scrupulous attention to workmanship. However, a suit that is well constructed doesn’t necessarily resonate with the buyers unless it is perfectly cut so as to take advantage of the natural feel and weight of the fabric. A crisp fabric such as linen doesn’t drape as well as a silk or crepe. The top designers are meticulous about cutting the garment pieces exactly on grain. This prevents inappropriate sagging or stretching of the garment while in use.

3-Piece Suit

Although much less common today than in the past, three piece women’s fashion suits can still be found. These garments by top designers are sometimes a skirt, jacket and pants. They may also be a blouse; jacket and either skirt or pants. With the ability to interchange skirt or pants, the 3-piece suit makes an ideal combination for a short business trip or weekend event that requires a change of clothing. By coordinating the colors or patterns of the suit, you can expand your wardrobe with a minimum number of garments.

Floor Length Suits

An ultra high fashion suit for women is one with a long skirt topped by a jacket. The jacket can be boxy or fitted. The length of the jacket is often hip length or even fingertip length. The skirt is often slim, but it may be fuller. The width of the skirt should be chosen to suit your personal figure type. Women’s fashion suits can be constructed of silk or silk brocade. Another popular fabric is velvet. A long skirt in a rich and lustrous fabric can be worn to the most formal occasion. It is also appropriate for an intimate dinner party with a few friends.
